Miyazaki to Yuasa

If Miyazaki remains at the helm for feature films, I'd put Yuasa at the helm for directing TV series. He's amazing at it, because his style is best fit for series production. Let alone, he's very intelligent and uses a powerful symbolism to compensate for his wild and freestyle form. Each episode he directs feels like a different feature because he's constantly searching for something new to express, meanwhile the leisurely pace of a TV series allows his abstract style to develop over a series of chapters rather than a full-length feature. That being said, he's unique in that regard. Unlike most animators that have had to rely on enormous budgets, Yuasa might also be the most resourceful in defying in-house studio demands and creating masterpieces independently on limited funds.
