What is more important than wisdom?
The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.
- Socrates
There are two halves of thinking; the emotional and the rational. I looked up the definition of the word ‘wisdom’ and it is defined as—-QUOTE, “the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgment; the quality of being wise.” QUOTE
Philosophically, wisdom can pertain to both the emotional and rational. Taking this into consideration, my answer to this question would be what humans don’t know or haven’t experienced that may be more important than having wisdom.
Sure, wisdom may progress ideas in the world around us, but it’s always what we don’t know that’s catalyst for our observations and discoveries of a particular subject. The unknowable is more-or-less important than wisdom gained as a result from observation and discovery.
